Whether you go for a high class unit or just a basic one you will not want to buy one that you know will have immediate repair costs unless you are planning modifications and allow for it in your purchase price.

Inside fixtures can play a major role if your main goal is to save large amounts of money on your purchase. You may want to get by on just the bare necessities in the beginning and make improvements later after you experience what you really need. When buying from a private owner it will be the buyer's responsibility to make sure everything properly works inside and out. However an old motorhome bought from a dealer and commands a higher price may have been thoroughly checked from top to bottom for engine, interior, and exterior maintenance.
